Tilly Doro’s bestselling Wave + Pearl Earrings suspend a small faux pearl from the end of a long, wandering gold form, giving a very traditional piece of jewelry considerably more movement than usual. Each wave begins in wax, shaped by hand before being cast in recycled metal and finished in 24k gold plate. The result is two inches of curves, shimmer, and slight irregularity, with the pearl swinging at the bottom like punctuation someone decided not to put in the expected place. Sculptural enough to change an outfit, lightweight enough to forget about once you leave the house. The ocean rarely produces a straight line. These wisely don’t attempt one.

Tilly Doro began with founder Nogah Rotstein’s grandmother Tilly, who believed nothing should be wasted and that the best gifts were the ones somebody actually made. Rotstein took that philosophy rather literally, transforming recycled metals, deadstock, and repurposed materials into jewelry shaped by nature, old symbols, asymmetry, and the occasional happy accident.
