Each earring begins as a hand-fabricated wax form before being cast in metal and finished in 24k gold plate, leaving behind tiny variations that distinguish handmade geometry from the suspicious perfection of a computer-generated triangle. Small enough for everyday wear but graphic enough to register from across a table. Order, repetition, one small imperfection. Basically how most good things get made.

Tilly Doro began with founder Nogah Rotstein’s grandmother Tilly, who believed nothing should be wasted and that the best gifts were the ones somebody actually made. Rotstein took that philosophy rather literally, transforming recycled metals, deadstock, and repurposed materials into jewelry shaped by nature, old symbols, asymmetry, and the occasional happy accident. Turns out “waste not” is also a pretty good design philosophy.
