Humans have been assigning supernatural importance to the sun for basically as long as we’ve been able to look up.
Yugen Handmade compresses all of that into a 3/4-inch brass sunburst with a tiny piece of copper oyster turquoise at its center. The stone is the unpredictable part: turquoise, copper, rust, cream, and earthy variations appear differently in every piece, so the ring you receive will be slightly different from the one pictured. This is what happens when one of your raw materials spent several million years underground without consulting the product specifications. The band is adjustable, which removes one of the more annoying logistical problems associated with buying someone a ring. A small sun, a very old stone, and considerably less commitment than worshipping either one.
