Your face should probably meet your skincare before you commit to a long-term relationship.
Activist’s Refillable Trial & Travel Kit gives you a few weeks with seven of the brand’s formulas, which is considerably more useful than deciding whether you like something based on three heroic drops from a foil packet. Inside are three cleansers, Healing Water Toning Mist, two targeted serums, and Precious Oils Active Infusion, covering a complete routine while giving you enough time to figure out what your skin actually wants. The minis are refillable, travel-friendly, and packed in a drawstring bag, so the products you fall for can keep coming along long after the trial period is over.

About the Brand: Activist Skincare
There are easier ways to start a skincare company than making the skincare yourself. Fortunately, Allison Callaway apparently wasn't looking for easy. She founded Activist Skincare in Southern California after becoming increasingly interested in what was actually inside the products she used and what happened to all the packaging afterward. What began with formulas made in her own kitchen grew into a woman-owned skincare company that still makes its products in-house, in small batches, rather than handing production off to someone else. The same attention extends beyond what goes in the bottle. Activist designed its entire collection to be refillable and gives a portion of revenue to environmental and human-rights organizations. It’s a considerably more involved way to make skincare. Which may be exactly the point.
