The Puddle Earrings from Tilly Doro are a loose, wandering interpretation of the traditional hoop, hand formed into an irregular shape that looks different from practically every angle. At two and a half inches long, they have enough scale to feel sculptural while the open form keeps them light and easy. Choose them in uninterrupted gold or with a faux pearl suspended at the bottom, an oddly elegant addition to a shape inspired by something usually found next to a storm drain. Each pair is handmade to order in Brooklyn and finished in 24k gold plate. A little strange, very beautiful, and impossible to draw with a compass.

About the Brand: Tilly Doro

Tilly Doro began with founder Nogah Rotstein’s grandmother Tilly, who believed nothing should be wasted and that the best gifts were the ones somebody actually made. Rotstein took that philosophy rather literally, transforming recycled metals, deadstock, and repurposed materials into jewelry shaped by nature, old symbols, asymmetry, and the occasional happy accident. Turns out “waste not” is also a pretty good design philosophy.
