The Phoenix Candle Snuffer turns an extremely minor household task into something unexpectedly satisfying. Handcrafted in India from stainless steel with a matte black finish, its long sculptural handle ends in a bell-shaped snuffer that extinguishes a flame without the usual blowing, smoke, or occasional spray of melted wax. At ten inches long, it’s substantial enough to leave beside your candles rather than hide in a drawer. Which is fortunate, because it looks much too good for the drawer.
