OYOY’s Palloa Candleholder is a small study in exactly that. Made from solid brushed brass, its low, sculptural form gives a taper just enough support without competing for attention, while the warm metal adds a little weight and shine to the arrangement. Use one on a nightstand or side table, line several down the middle of dinner, or mix it among candleholders you've collected over time. The unfinished brass will gradually develop a natural patina as you handle and live with it, so the object gets a little less perfect and considerably more yours. It’s simple, substantial, and proof that sometimes the best thing a candleholder can do is know it’s not the candle.
