Nightcap from Nose Dive is made for everything that happens after that. Black tea, bergamot, bay leaf, and African marigold open things up before fig, violet, and dry hay move in, eventually settling into Moroccan cedarwood, vetiver, tobacco, and musk. It’s dark, smoky, warm, and just sweet enough, like a jazz club where the lighting is flattering and nobody has checked the time recently. Burn it when friends come over, make the Negronis, lower the lights, and accept that tomorrow morning may now require some negotiation. Last call is ultimately just a suggestion.
