The La Dolce Vita Tote by Tin Marin is knotted entirely by hand using traditional macramé techniques, creating an open weave from natural jute with “La Dolce Vita” worked directly into the design. No machinery, no electricity, just an impressive number of knots made one after another by skilled women artisans in India. At 17 inches wide, it's roomy enough for the beach, farmers market, or the daily collection of things that somehow follows you everywhere. The natural jute is lightweight but remarkably strong, while the open construction keeps the whole thing feeling more Italian vacation than agricultural fiber. Each tote is made individually by hand, so variations in the weave, color, and dimensions are part of the deal.
