The Hills Earrings from Tilly Doro take a long strip of gold and send it pleasantly off course. Rounded forms rise and fall along each two-inch drop, creating something that resembles hills from one angle, waves from another, and pure abstraction if you’d rather stop trying to identify everything. They’re hand made to order in Brooklyn and finished in 24k gold plate, with enough length to make themselves known and enough simplicity to remain remarkably easy to live with. Sometimes good design is just geometry deciding to loosen up.

About the Brand: Tilly Doro

Tilly Doro began with founder Nogah Rotstein’s grandmother Tilly, who believed nothing should be wasted and that the best gifts were the ones somebody actually made. Rotstein took that philosophy rather literally, transforming recycled metals, deadstock, and repurposed materials into jewelry shaped by nature, old symbols, asymmetry, and the occasional happy accident. Turns out “waste not” is also a pretty good design philosophy.
