Your margarita is probably fine. But this is how it develops a personality.
Hella’s Smoked Chili Bitters bring heat, smoke, citrus, and spice in a few strategically deployed dashes. Whole smoked Pasilla de Oaxaca chiles provide a deep, lingering warmth rather than the culinary equivalent of being yelled at, while orange peel and spices add enough brightness and complexity to keep things interesting. Dash them into a margarita and suddenly there’s considerably more going on; add them to an Old Fashioned, Bloody Mary, or anything else that could stand to become a little smokier and stranger. You can even add a few dashes to soda when an actual cocktail isn’t part of the plan.

About the Brand: Hella Cocktail Co.
Hella essentially believes your home bar deserves a spice cabinet. This is difficult to argue with. Hella Cocktail Co. was started by friends who began making bitters in small batches and eventually built a company around making better drinks considerably easier to achieve at home. Its bitters combine neutral grain spirit with whole botanicals like roots, bark, fruit peels, spices, and herbs to add the sort of depth usually associated with someone behind the bar who owns more tiny bottles than seems reasonable. The formulas use recognizable ingredients without artificial colors or flavors and are vegan, gluten free, and Non-GMO. Basically, Hella is the difference between “I made a drink” and “wait, why is this so good?”
