Compliments have become suspiciously complicated for something that can improve a person's entire day in about three seconds.

The “Hey Beautiful” card gets straight to the point. Handwritten lettering is letterpress printed onto blush, plant-dyed handmade paper, creating the sort of compliment that feels considerably more meaningful when it arrives somewhere other than a text bubble. Give it to a partner, a friend, your mom, or someone who simply deserves to be reminded. The inside is blank, so you can elaborate extensively or decide that “hey beautiful” already covered the important part. Either way, this is one of those rare messages nobody gets tired of receiving.

About the Brand: Farmette

Farmette is what happens when slowing down becomes a manufacturing philosophy. Founded by Loren Profit Smith in 2017, the California paper and letterpress studio makes its goods largely by hand, from transforming natural fibers into deckle-edged sheets and coloring them with botanical dyes to feeding each piece individually through antique letterpresses. The process is wonderfully inefficient by modern standards, which is precisely what makes it special. Farmette creates paper goods meant to make writing, giving, and connecting feel a little more deliberate in a world that has gotten remarkably good at making all three instantaneous.
