'Dreams' Handmade Paper Notebook

The “Dreams” Notebook gives those ideas somewhere to live before common sense gets involved. Small enough to keep close and beautiful enough to leave out, it’s made for plans, possibilities, midnight revelations, future trips, strange little sketches, and whatever else your brain comes up with when nobody has asked it to be productive. The indigo handmade-paper cover is letterpress printed in Farmette’s California studio and tied with botanically dyed silk ribbon, with handmade white pages inside. Think of it as a tiny holding place for things that may become something someday. Or may not. Writing them down is still half the fun.

About the Brand: Farmette

Farmette is what happens when slowing down becomes a manufacturing philosophy. Founded by Loren Profit Smith in 2017, the California paper and letterpress studio makes its goods largely by hand, from transforming natural fibers into deckle-edged sheets and coloring them with botanical dyes to feeding each piece individually through antique letterpresses. The process is wonderfully inefficient by modern standards, which is precisely what makes it special. Farmette creates paper goods meant to make writing, giving, and connecting feel a little more deliberate in a world that has gotten remarkably good at making all three instantaneous.
