The Equilateral Necklace from Tilly Doro connects three narrow rectangles into a large, open triangle, a shape associated here with balance and equanimity. Which is reassuring, considering actual life rarely arranges itself with this much symmetry. The two-inch pendant begins as a hand-formed wax model before being cast in recycled metal and finished in 24k gold plate, giving all that clean geometry the subtle irregularities of something made by an actual person. Suspended from a long 24-inch chain, it’s simple, sculptural, and just unusual enough to make you reconsider the triangle, a shape most of us haven’t thought seriously about since approximately fourth grade. Perfect balance may be unrealistic. Wearing the diagram seems manageable.

About the Brand: Tilly Doro

Tilly Doro began with founder Nogah Rotstein’s grandmother Tilly, who believed nothing should be wasted and that the best gifts were the ones somebody actually made. Rotstein took that philosophy rather literally, transforming recycled metals, deadstock, and repurposed materials into jewelry shaped by nature, old symbols, asymmetry, and the occasional happy accident. Turns out “waste not” is also a pretty good design philosophy.
