WEKÜKÜ’s Big Eye set pairs a mini scented candle with a fragrance diffuser, giving you two different ways to make the same room considerably more interesting. The candle starts with bergamot and nutmeg before moving into vetiver, gaiac wood, patchouli, and sandalwood, then settles into warm labdanum, benzoin, and tonka. The diffuser takes a slightly different route, mixing bergamot, pepper, and violet leaf with sandalwood and iris over musk, olibanum, and vanilla. Together, they’re woody, warm, a little spicy, and just strange enough to avoid smelling like every candle called something involving woods. Let the diffuser handle the everyday atmosphere, then light the candle when the situation calls for slightly more commitment. It’s basically ambient lighting and ambient scent agreeing to work together for once.

Its stated goal is to bring art and design closer to daily life, drawing on traditional ideas while making objects feel more playful, colorful, and unexpected.  Which explains the Big Eye collection rather well. You could put fragrance in an anonymous glass cylinder and call it a day. WEKÜKÜ clearly had other plans.
