At some point someone looked at the scarf, an object whose defining characteristic is basically being long, and decided it should be a triangle. They were right.
Knitted from 100% Merino wool, this is a considerably smaller proposition than the traditional scarf, but it's soft, warm, lightweight, and shaped to sit around your neck without several feet of fabric requiring ongoing negotiations. The Merino wool provides warmth without much bulk, while the triangular construction gives an extremely simple object just enough geometry to become interesting. At 110 by 38 centimeters, there isn't much to it. Which may be exactly why it works.
